Artifacts - Pulp Fiction
Closed edition of 100 sets of 3 giclées each.
8x8 inches. Hand signed and numbered.
Set of 3 8x8 inches giclées. Printed on beautiful archival-grade, 100% cotton, museum-quality paper.
When alone, ships flat, sandwiched between two pieces of cardboard and glassine, in a sturdy mailer. When bought together with a bigger print, they’r protected with glassine and then gently rolled alongside the other prints. In any case, the process is more delicate than a foot massage by Jules and the package is tracked so Marsellus won’t have to send a coupla guys with a blowtorch to find out where it is.
I painted these in a style meant to homage the sort of 70s look and feel of the movie, and the pulp magazines and books of the time. These are simple objects, but in the hands of Tarantino, they tell a story and help propel the characters along the arc they follow. Violence and sordidness notwithstanding, it’s characters and their motivations what make this movie a freaking gem.
Now, with my movie critic moment out of the way, I can just tell you that these look really cool and unique, and are sure to shine on any wall. Don’t make me get medieval on your ass. Get them already.
PS. THIS SET CONSISTS OF 3 PRINTS. But, as a bonus, because I love you, if you get this set and also buy the alternate movie poster from Pulp Fiction, you’ll be officially awesome in my book so I’ll send you the 8x24 print of the katana Butch used to eviscerate Maynard (look at the last couple of images). It’s my way to say thank you, and the only way to get it since I won’t ever sell the katana by itself, or as part of a set.
