Kill Bill - Bloody Affair Variant

US$80.00
Almost Gone!

This is the Bloody Affair version of the print. Here are the Regular Version and the Red Sea Variant.

  • Closed edition of 11.

  • Hand-signed, numbered and embossed to ensure authenticity.

  • 18x24 inches giclée. Printed on beautiful 300gsm archival-grade, 100% cotton, museum-quality paper.

  • Ships gently rolled with protective Kraft paper and glassine, and delicately put into a 4" cardboard tube so it arrives perfectly safe home. The shipment is tracked, and Beatrix Kiddo herself guards every package to make sure they get to you safely.

Kill Bill is an awesome, awesome movie, with a shitton of memorable characters and scenes to pick from. Which makes creating an alternative movie poster for it both easy and so. Fucking. Hard. Most of the scenes and character poses have been used to death, and in posters that are so pretty, my monkey self will never be able to compete. So I decided to double down, and do the thing I do relatively well: I went simple. Well, simple-ish, because of course I had to try and do a semi-decent facsimile of a Sumi ink piece. And boy, it’s not easy.

I am, however, quite happy with the result. This is an idea I haven’t seen before, and I think it captures Beatrix’s character and story while honouring the style and influences from the movie. Besides, it looks fucking cool, if I do say so myself. Wouldn’t you agree? c’mon, I know you do. So don’t make me go find Gogo Yubari to pay you a visit and convince you. Put in in the cart already.
