Artifacts - Indiana Jones
Closed edition of 30 sets of 3 giclées each.
8x8 inches. Hand signed and numbered.
Printed on beautiful 200gsm archival-grade, 100% cotton, museum-quality paper.
Ships flat, sandwiched between two pieces of cardboard and glassine, in a sturdy mailer, and then delicately put in the mail by a Short Round impersonator (the real guy was very expensive to hire, sorry). Package is tracked, for Marcus Brody's peace of mind.
So, this kicks off the "Artifacts" series. In case you skipped the Zoom call that day, the idea is that I will work on a particular property, movie, character or series each month, and I'll produce three 8x8 prints of relevant artifacts for said property, movie, character or... you get it. And what better movie series to start than Indiana Jones? He's the artifact hunter par excellence, and every movie is filled with wondrous, shiny, hugely artifact-like things. But since I had to choose, I picked the three you see on the right. Or up top. I have no idea what you're using to read this. Just look at the pictures, k? So, we have the Chachapoyan Fertility Idol, the Sankara Stones and the Holy Grail! One artifact for each one of the three first movies, because, a) three is a magical number, and b) in my headcanon "Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" didn't happen. This is your chance to own a bit of archaeological history for almost nothing. Go on, you know you want them... Make Indy proud.
